Japan Journeys provides you with the assistance and background cultural knowledge to help you find a job in this fascinating country. The most popular jobs for those on a Working Holiday Visa to Japan include teaching English, hospitality, interpreting, translating, research and even acting.

In our program which we have been offering monthly since January 2008, you will be met on arrival at Tokyo (Narita) Airport and escorted to your Tokyo accommodation by our friendly assistant. You’ll stay 7 nights in hostel accommodation in Tokyo. A morning Tour of Tokyo will allow you a glimpse of the highlights of this buzzing city. You’ll also be given a Cultural Session by our local assistant on how to succeed in Japan. Your assistant will then take you to the Working Holiday Office to help you register your visa and to commence your job search.

Japan Working Holiday Visa
A  Japan Gap Year means obtaining a Japan Working Holiday Visa which is only available for 18-30 year olds.  A maximum 1000 visas are issued for UK citizens from April each year so it’s on a first come first served basis!

When can I go?
You should arrange your arrival in Tokyo for the first Tuesday of any month.
